The Tidying Up quest in Fae Farm does an excellent job of teaching you the basics of the game. It’s a sort of tutorial quest, but it gives some valuable information that can help you throughout the duration of your gameplay. Tidying Up is one of the very first quests you’ll complete after you make it to Azoria and begin speaking to the locals. You can pick up the Tidying Up quest in Fae Farm from Merritt, Azoria’s mayor. Aside from completing the Moving In quest, no specific requirements need to be met to start Tidying Up.
How to Complete Tidying Up
Merritt will begin the quest by giving you a set of Starter Tools. These tools will not only help you through the quest, but also help you throughout your gameplay in Fae Farm. You don’t need to switch between your tools to use them; walk up to an object and hit the A button on Switch to automatically use the correct tool for the job.
The Tidying Up quest in Fae Farm has four goals that must be met:
- Harvest Plant Fiber x10
- Pick Up Stone x10
- Pick Up Beech Log x5
- Pick Up Arugula x5
Harvesting Plant Fibers is the easiest of your tasks and will take the least time to complete. Walk up to one of the many weeds surrounding your farm and press the A button. This action will cut down the weeds so you can collect Plat Fibers from them. Once you’ve collected 10 Plant Fibers, move on to the next goal in the Tidying Up quest in Fae Farm.
Next, you should work on picking up stones. Head to the nearest small stone you see and use the A button again. This action will cause your character to pull out their pickaxe and break up the stone. Each broken stone will produce two stones you can pick up, so you will need to break five stones to complete this Tidying Up goal.
Now, it’s time to pick up five Beech Logs. For this goal, you’ll only need to chop down one tree and break the tree stump from it. Head over to a tall tree and press the A button repeatedly until the top portion of the tree falls to the ground. You will find that a stump remains in the ground. Repeat the process for the stump, then collect all five of the Beech Logs that drop on the ground by walking over them.
The final goal in the Tidying Up quest in Fae Farm is to pick up five Arugula. Arugula is very closely related to Plat Fibers and is collected in the same way. Walk up to the darker green colored plants among the weeds and use the A button to collect them. Repeat this process five times to complete the Tidying Up quest in Fae Farm.
