The From Humble Beginnings quest in Fae Farm is one of the first ones you’ll encounter in-game. Chapter one of the game focuses on teaching you how everything works. From Humble Beginnings aims to teach you about farming in Fae Farm. With three simple goals to complete, From Humble Beginnings shouldn’t take long to complete. You’ll grow nine plants, craft basic Soil Beds for farming, and obtain turnip seeds from your new shed. Are you ready to learn how to complete the Fae Farm From Humble Beginnings quest?
From Humble Beginnings Quest Guide

There are three goals you must complete within the From Humble Beginnings quest in Fae Farm:
- Retrieve turnip seeds from your shed x3
- Craft and place Basic Soil Bed x3
- Press A (For Nintendo Switch) to plant turnip seeds x3
Your storage shed can be found down the stairs from your new home and to the left. Inside the storage shed, you can find several materials and seeds.
Head inside the shed and transfer all the materials and seeds marked with an exclamation point into your inventory. Your quest only says you need three of each, but if you want to net some extra Florins once the quest is done, you can make all nine crop plots and grow nine turnips rather than three.
Now, head back outside and hit the down button on your D-pad to bring up the outdoor Construction menu. From here, you should have the resources required to craft nine basic soil beds.
Select the Basic Soil Bed from the Construction menu to begin placing them. You can place them anywhere you’d like, but we decided to place them in a 3×3 square. This will help later on with watering, as they’re all in one location and can be accessed easily.
Next, it’s time to start planting. Walk over to every Basic Soil Bed you just crafted and place a Turnip Seed in it by pressing the A button if you are playing on Nintendo Switch. Once all the Basic Soil Beds are filled, return to Merritt to complete the Fae Farm From Humble Beginnings Quest.
