Every task you do in Disney Dreamlight Valley such as gardening, mining, or fishing uses energy. You can survive by eating raw foods, but using this method will cause you to have to recharge frequently. A better way to increase your energy level is by cooking different foods and desserts. Each recipe is rated by Stars. A simple 1 ingredient recipe is a 1-star recipe. With each additional ingredient, it adds a star to the recipe. The more ingredients, the higher the level of energy.
How to Cook in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To cook you will need the ingredients you want to cook with, a piece of coal ore, and of course a stove. You can cook in a house or Chez Remy’s Restaurant. You will find ingredients as you proceed through the game. You can experiment with ingredients or follow a recipe. Either way is up to you. After you have decided which ingredients you want to use, place them in your pot on the stove and click “Start Cooking”.
How to Make Banana Ice Cream in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To make Banana Ice Cream in Disney Dreamlight Valley you have to first unlock the Dazzle Beach biome. To unlock this you need to remove the Night Thorns blocking the path. To remove the Night Thorns from the pathway you can use Dreamlight.
After you have unlocked the Dazzle Beach biome, you will also need to unlock the Chez Remy Restaurant by completing Remy’s quest. To complete the quest line for Remy you will need to do kitchen tasks. Most of these tasks will be cooking from the ingredients that you will find in the Chez Remy Restaurant.
Once the tasks are complete and you have finished the quest you can start collecting ingredients to make Banana Ice Cream.

- Bananas which can be found at Dazzle Beach
- Sugarcane which is purchased from Goofy’s Stall at Dazzle Beach
- Milk which can be purchased at the Chez Remy Pantry
- Slush Ice which can also be purchased at the Chez Remy Pantry
You will only be able to purchase the Slush Ice after the quest line is finished. So, remember to complete Remy’s quest to be able to make this 4-Star Desert!
