The Gaming Cavern

in Storyteller, there are some pretty cool puzzles to fit together, each creating a beautiful story. However, when you get a bit of the way into the book, there are some puzzles that just seem, well, difficult. We definitely got stumped the first time around on the Chapter 4: The Cellar answers in Storyteller since they were much more complex than Chapter 1 or Chapter 2. However, if you’re having any issues with it, this guide can surely help you.

Storyteller Chapter 4: The Cellar

In Chapter 4: Cellar, we’ll solve four individual story puzzles: Poison, Tragedy, Haunt, and Envy.

1. Poison

• Lenora Drinks Poison
  • First, drag the Wedding Scene into the far left box. Drag Edgar and Lenora into the box to show them in love.
  • Next, drag the Death Scene into the center box. Drag Edgar to the headstone and Lenora into the space beside him so Lenora’s heart breaks.
  • Finally, drag the Poison Scene into the far right box, and drag in Lenora to show her drinking poison so she can be with Edgar again.

2. Tragedy

• Double Poison (someone drinks poison twice)
  • Starting in the top left box, drag the Wedding Scene, followed by Lenora and Edgar.
  • In the top center box, drag the Death Scene, then add Edgar to the headstone and Lenora next to him to show her heart breaking.
  • In the top right box, drag the Poison Scene, then drag Lenora into the scene.
  • In the bottom row, drag the Revive Scene into the left box then add Lenora to show her doing back to life. The final two boxes should match the boxes directly above it so Lenora will drink poison twice.

3. Haunt

• Isobel is Haunted by her Husband
  • First, drag the Wedding Scene, along with Isobel and Edgar, into the top left box.
  • Next, drag the Fight Scene into the top center box. Add in Isobel and Edgar.
  • Now, drag the Poison Scene into the top right box, and drag in Isobel. Since she and her husband are fighting and she’s mad, rather than drinking the poison herself, she will poison Edgar.
  • In the bottom left box, drag in the Wine Scene, then add Edgar to it so he will drink the poisoned wine and die.
  • Finally, drag the Fight Scene into the bottom center box and add Edgar and Isobel back into it, so Edgar will haunt Isobel.

4. Envy

• Murder of Jealousy (but everyone meets their demise)
  • In the top left box, drag the Wedding Scene, followed by Edgar and Lenora.
  • Next, drag the Wedding Scene to the top center box, followed by Edgar and Isobel. Edgar will choose Lenora, his wife, over Isobel and she will get angry.
  • In the top right box, drag in the Poison Scene, then drag in Isobel so she will poison Lenora.
  • Now, in the bottom left box, add the Wine Scene, then add Lenora so she will drink the wine poisoned by Isobel.
  • In the bottom center box, add the Poison Scene, then add Edgar. Edgar will drink the poison himself since his wife is dead.
  • Finally, add the Poison Scene to the bottom right box, then add Isobel, who will drink the wine since the man she wanted is now dead.
