Fred Armisen to play as Uncle Fester in ‘Wednesday’ Netflix Series

We’re quickly closing in on Netflix’s new ‘Wednesday’ series that is set to release in a month. On Saturday, during New York’s Comic Con, we got a sneak peak of the trailer, featuring Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester. The new trailer gives up a close up sneak peek at ‘Wednesday’s’ characters and setting.

In the new series, we get to see Jenna Ortega play Wednesday as she catches up with her loving Uncle Fester, Fred Armisen. To her surprise, they meet up in the woods to try to get to the bottom of the strange happenings at her school. Throughout the series, we get to follow Jenna Ortega as she learns about her psychic abilities, and deals with typical teen drama in her school.

The trailer gets us all pumped for the series’ release in November. Wednesday’s parents, Gomez (Luis Guzmán) and Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) make an appearance as well, filling in more of our favorite characters. We even get to see the origin Wednesday, Christina Ricci as a Nevermore staff member, Ms. Thornhil.

Fred Armisen continues to grow his career, as this year, he was also in Clerks IIIOur Flag Means DeathDocumentary Now!, and Big Mouth. His bigger projects are Saturday Night LiveBrooklyn Nine-Nine, and Schmigadoon!

With Tim Burton as both the executive producer and director, the show is surely to be everything we’ve been expecting and more as it his Netflix on November 23rd!
